By downloading or using Mineral AI you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Mineral AI, and old enough to form a binding contract. Mineral AI is intended for adults with a general interest in nutrition and fitness.
Mineral AI provides estimates and general educational information to help you track what you eat. It is not a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nutrition and mineral absorption vary from person to person, and the app's figures may be inaccurate. Do not rely on Mineral AI to manage a medical condition. Iron supplementation in particular should be directed by your doctor. You use the app and act on its information at your own discretion and risk.
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
Do not misuse the app: no unlawful use, no interfering with or attacking the service, no reverse engineering except as permitted by law, no scraping, and no uploading content you do not have the right to use.
You keep ownership of the photos and data you add. You grant us the limited permission needed to process them to provide the app (including sending food photos to our AI providers to estimate nutrition, as described in the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for the content you submit.
Mineral AI and its software, design, and content are owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own use. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it except as allowed by these Terms.
Mineral AI relies on third-party services (including Apple, Supabase, Anthropic, Google, and Open Food Facts). Your use of features that depend on them may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app or its estimates will be accurate, reliable, uninterrupted, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mineral AI and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the app or its estimates. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim (which may be zero).
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the app or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
You may stop using Mineral AI and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or where necessary to protect the service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the courts located there, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you other rights. We will try to resolve any dispute informally first, so please contact us before taking formal action.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notice in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
